BJP luring voters with bank accounts: TRS to EC

Hyderabad, Oct.22 (Maxim News): TRS leaders today alleged that the BJP leaders for luring voters with money and gifts in Huzurabad segment for October 30 by-elections. A team of TRS leaders called on Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Shashank Goel here and complained against the BJP leaders for poll code violations. The TRS leaders criticised that the BJP leaders at the behest of a Union Minister are camping in the segment to lure voters. The BJP leaders are opening bank accounts allegedly to lure the voters in the polls and it should be stopped by the EC.

The BJP leaders are also sending money through various modes using WhatsApp, Googlepay and others, they alleged. These illegal activities should be stopped by the election commission, they urged.

The TRS leaders said that the EC is giving permission to the BJP for such meetings and denying the TRS to hold its meeting by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The TRS leaders alleged that the BJP is influencing the Election Commission for partisan attitude. (Maxim News)
