BJP leaders write to DGP to accord permission for Bandi’s III phase padayatra from Aug. 2 to 26

Hyderabad, July 26 (Maxim News): State BJP leaders Dr G. Manohar Reddy, G. Premender Reddy, D. Pradeep Kumar on Tuesday in writing requested the Director General of Police to grant permission for padayatra (Praja Sangrama Yatra Phase-III) by State BJP president and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar from August 2 to 26. They said senior BJP leaders, both national and state, would participate in the padayatra.

The BJP leaders assured the DGP that they would strictly abide by the provisions of Epidemic Diseases Act and Disaster Management Act and other Government orders issued by Telangana Government from time to time during the padayatra. They also want to use drone camera to cover the padayatra event. They also furnished the program schedule to Police Commissioners of Rachakonda and Warangal and Superintendant of Nalgonda to take care of law and order arrangements under their jurisdiction.

The BJP leaders requested the DGP to accord permission for the padayatra viz., Praja Sangrama Yatra-Phase-III and also for the public meetings to be held. They also requested the DGP to instruct the local police authorities to make necessary arrangements to maintain law and order and for the security of the national and State leaders of the party en route the padayatra and also at places of public meetings as mentioned in the route map.
