Hyderabad CP complains about noise pollution on Dial 100

Hyderabad, July 31: On Saturday night, the Hyderabad Commissioner of Police called Dial 100 to complain about noise pollution, which caught the Jubilee Hills police station staff off guard.

The police control center received a call from a landline number at around 11 a.m. complaining about loud music being played and disturbing the public. The complaint was forwarded by the control room to the Jubilee Hills police station.

Inspector A Ramesh, a local night officer, went to the scene and turned off the sound system and band when the police station flashed the warning to the patrol cars.

One guy, Srinivas, was detained for raising a disturbance late at night, and a charge was filed against him. At first, the police did not recognize the complaint, but they later discovered that Hyderabad CP C V Anand had placed the call.
