Hyderabad Police Commissionerate – Redistribution of Police Zones

  • 2 New Zones, 10 Divisions and 13 POlice Stations under Hyderabad Commissionerate. All set to start to from Jan 1

Hyderabad, December 14: New zones are being established under the Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate and the respective zones are being re-divided.

Recently, the KCR government has given the green signal for the formation of new stations, divisions and zones, and the proposals for redistribution are being implemented.

As a part of this, 13 new stations, 10 divisions and two zones are being formed.

The population of Hyderabad, which is becoming a cosmopolitan city, is increasing day by day.

As the apartment culture grows, so does the population.

Accordingly, the government has decided to set up police stations as well.

To this extent, the government has sanctioned three additional DCPs, 13 ACPs and 26 inspectors to the city police commissionerate.

Currently, the city has Westzone, Northzone, Central Zone, Eastzone, Southzone and 17 Divisions and 60 stations. Recently five zones are being divided into seven zones.

After the redistribution of zones, 73 police stations, 27 divisions and 7 zones will be formed under the jurisdiction of the city police commissionerate.

From January 1, new police stations, divisions and zones are preparing to perform duties.
