Christmas Celebrations: Koppula invites Bishops

Christmas Celebrations | Hyderabad, Dec. 20 (Maxim News): The state government has sent an invitation to the bishops of various churches to attend the Christmas celebrations, which will take place at the LB Stadium in Hyderabad on December 21.

To this end, Koppula Eshwar, the state’s minister for minorities’ welfare, met with Cardinal Pula Antony, C.S., on Tuesday at the Millennium Church House in Secunderabad.

He presented the invitation letter to Bishop Padmarao of the Medak Church in CSI.

They were informed that several famous people, including the Chief Minister KCR, are taking part in the Christmas festivities.

Christmas Celebrations

Minister Koppula Iswar was welcomed by Christian elders when he arrived to deliver the invitation letter on this particular occasion.

It is known that Hyderabad is celebrating one of the most awaited seasons with much grandeur after two whole years. Celebrations in the past two years were marred by Covid-induced restrictions, with carolling and gathering curtailed.

Telangana government will officially hold Christmas celebrations at LB stadium on December 21. Minorities welfare minister koppula eshwar asked officials to make elaborate arrangements for the celebrations in which chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will take part and host dinner.
