Hyderabad: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials conducted simultaneous searches at multiple locations linked to NIMS Additional Medical Superintendent Dr N. Lakshmi Bhaskar on Tuesday as part of a disproportionate assets case.
The searches began in the morning and covered 12 locations across three districts, including Bhaskar’s residence and office, as well as properties linked to relatives and associates, according to reports.
ACB officials are examining documents relating to bank accounts, deposits, property transactions and other financial assets as part of the investigation.

Officials are also checking bank lockers and other financial records to determine whether the assets held by the NIMS official are disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Reports said the ACB has identified certain assets during the searches. The exact value of the properties and other items allegedly found during the operation is yet to be officially disclosed.
Dr Lakshmi Bhaskar had previously faced a police case over an alleged land transaction involving another doctor. Hyderabad police registered the case in 2025 following allegations of cheating and threats.
The ACB searches are continuing, and officials are expected to release further details after completing the verification of documents and other material seized during the operation.
