Misuse of cellphones By Youngsters May Ruin Generation: Mahmood Ali

Misuse of cellphones | Hyderabad, Jan 11 (Maxim News): Minister for Home, Mohd Mahmood Ali said that the misuse of smartphones and internet by the young boys and girls is a risk of destruction of generations due to misuse. He said anything if used for good, can be of great benefit.

Addressing the Cyber ambassador Platform event held at Ravindra Bharti, the minister said that our young boys and girls are on the verge of ruining their future by misusing the internet on their phones. The limit is that married boys and girls are also putting their married lives in trouble by misusing the internet.

The Minister said that it was for these reasons that the Women Safety Wing undertook to eradicate this evil by any means necessary to protect our generations. Widely used, including children, adults, men, and women who have become addicted to the internet.

He said that the Women Safety Wing conducted a comprehensive survey to find out the dangers of cyber risks among the citizens of Telangana, especially among women, in which it was found that people are not fully aware of the proper use of the Internet and the potential dangers. That’s why we need to deal with cyber security issues.

Misuse of cellphones

The Home Minister said that Telangana Police is always ready to provide security to its citizens. And there is a commitment to perform their duties in the future.

He said that “Today’s children are the responsible citizens of tomorrow, but the development of our country is in their hands. Therefore, we need to guide them properly.”

The Minister said the Women Safety Wing organized a month-long Cyb-HER awareness and seminars by cyber experts in July 2020 in which 5 million students from government and private schools participated.

In April 2021, a ten-month Phase-I & Phase-II Cyber Congress project was organized by the Women Safety Wing, SHE Team, Department of Education, Cyber Security Experts, and NGOs, in which 1,650 schools from all districts across the state participated.

3,300 students participated, who was educated and trained to avoid cyber fraud? Muhammad Mehmood Ali expressed happiness and said that the Women Safety Wing is starting the Phase III project. 9,424 cyber ambassadors (students) of 2,381 schools will be trained.

He expressed confidence that this project will provide the best education to young minds, which will provide a safe and peaceful environment for our future citizens.
