A person Who Attempted To Commit Suicide In Front Of Police Station, Died Today

Hyderabad, Aug 9 (Maxim News): Vijay, who attempted to commit suicide in front of Malakpet Police station in the city a week ago, died. 

Vijay attempted suicide by pouring petrol in front of the police station, claiming that his wife was being harassed by a man named Farooq. Vijay, who was seriously injured, was taken to Osmania Hospital.  He fought for a week and finally died today.   

For some time now, Vijay’s wife has been harassed by a man named Farooq.  Vijay committed this atrocity as he was deeply upset that his wife had complained to the police about harassment.  Meanwhile, heavy police were deployed at Osmania Mortuary.  The family members are alleging that Vijay committed suicide because the police did not pay attention to him.  Farooq harassed Vijay’s wife even after she lodged a complaint at the police station.  He threatened to kill Vijay’s pregnant wife by putting a granite stone on her stomach.  due to this, Vijay committed suicide.  

Speaking to press persons, on Vijay’s death, his wife Bhavani said, “We filed a complaint at the police station after a man named Farooq attacked my husband.  The police did not care, my husband, Vijay tried to commit suicide by pouring petrol.  He died after receiving treatment at Osmania Hospital for a week.  I complained to the police about beating my husband but they ignored it.  My husband committed suicide because the police did not care.  Farooq harassed me even after filing a complaint at the police station.  when I was pregnant, he threatened to kill me by throwing a granite stone on my stomach.  “I want justice, said Bhavani. 

On the other hand, there was a tense situation at Osmania Mortuary, BJP staged a protest against Vijay’s suicide.  They protested demanding justice from the government.  Immediately the police stopped the BJ workers and arrested them.   Vijay’s post-mortem was completed at the hospital.  soon the police will move to Malakpet.  In the wake of the BJP protest, the police have set up security in front of the mortuary.  (Maxim News)
