Aadhaar Card Update Deadline Extended Till December

Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept 14 (Maxim News): The Center has announced a deadline of September 14 to update details in Aadhaar Card free of cost. But not extending that deadline till December 14, 2024. Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has officially disclosed this on its X (Twitter) account.

An Aadhaar Card free update is available only on the ‘My Aadhaar‘ (#myAdhaar) portal. Rs. 50 to be paid for offline updating. Name, Address, photo, and other changes can be updated free of charge till December 14 on the online portal UIDAI website.

This is not the first time that the deadline has been extended. Earlier this date was extended from December 15, 2023, to March 14, then to June 14, September 14. Now the latest date has been extended to December 14. (Maxim News)
