ACB Raids In Karimnagar: Panchayat Secretary Caught Red-Handed

Nalgonda/Hyderabad, Oct 10 (Maxim News): The Anti-corruption Department is moving aggressively in Telangana. In Nalgonda district too, a Tahsildar was caught red-handed in ACB raids. It is known that ACB officers caught Nalgonda district Chityala Tahsildar Krishna red-handed after demanding Rs. 10 lakhs for mutation of land and taking Rs. 2 lakhs under the first installment.

According to the details given by ACB Nalgonda in-charge DSP Balakrishna, a farmer from Gundrampally in Chityala mandal met Tahsildar Gugulothu Krishna for mutation of his agricultural land located in survey numbers 172 and 167, and he demanded Rs. 10 lakhs. When the farmer said that he could not give that much, finally an agreement was reached for Rs. 5 lakhs. Later, the farmer met ACB officers and complained.

On their advice, on Thursday, the farmer came to the Chityala Tahsildar’s office with Rs. 2 lakh and met Krishna. The Tahsildar suggested that a private person working in the office give the money to Ramesh, so the farmer met Ramesh and gave the money. He took the money and gave it to Tahsildar Krishna. The ACB officers who were already there caught the Tahsildar and the private person, Ramesh, red-handed. (Maxim News)
