ACB Traps Medchal ASI For Demanding and Accepting Bribe

Hyderabad, Oct 8 (Maxim News):  The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Monday caught an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) from Medchal police station for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 50,000 from a person for an official favor.

The ASI, K. Madhu Sudan Rao, had demanded the money from a businessman for not taking any coercive steps against him and to settle a payment dispute with some customers, said ACB in a press release.

On a complaint, the ACB had laid the trap. On Monday, when the ASI accepted the bribe amount of Rs. 50,000 he was caught.

The ASI has been arrested and produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases court at Nampally.  (Maxim News)
