Additional Buses on Maha Shivaratri: Minister Ponnam
Hyderabad, Feb 18 (Maxim News): Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has instructed officials to make sure devotees do not face any difficulties while traveling to temples for Maha Shivaratri.
In a meeting with RTC officials, he reviewed the preparations and asked about the travel arrangements. He noted that many devotees are expected to visit temples like Vemulawada, Srisailam, Edupayala, Keesara, and Palakurthi, and ordered special RTC buses to handle the rush.
The minister also suggested running extra buses as the number of devotees this year is expected to be higher than last year. He directed officials to appoint special officers at bus stands to manage crowds and ensure smooth travel.
The meeting was attended by RTC MD Sajjanar, ED Munishekhar, CTM Sridhar, Finance Advisor Vijaya Pushpa, and other officials. (Maxim News)
