According to Iraqi security officials, the missile attack struck the US embassy compound in Baghdad and destroyed the helipad. The impact also sent smoke billowing from the embassy premises. The complex in Baghdad is considered one of the largest US embassy facilities in the world.

Second attack reported in Dubai within 24 hours

Meanwhile, another incident occurred in Dubai, a major financial hub in the region. Reports indicated that a building in the city was attacked, creating alarm among residents and observers.

However, the Dubai Media Office later posted on its X account that no one was injured in the incident. Officials confirmed that the attack only caused damage to the building.

Media reports also stated that a drone attack targeted a building in Dubai on Friday. The development marked the second attack reported in the region within 24 hours. As a result, the situation has sent shockwaves across West Asia.
