Adilabad Airport Plans: CM Revanth Reddy Makes Key Announcement

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced that airport work in Adilabad will start within a year. He said this during his visit to Adilabad on Thursday, where he took part in several development programmes. He instructed officials to ensure that Adilabad, like Warangal, gets an airport with all kinds of facilities. He stated that “if an airport comes here, industries will come to Adilabad.”

The Chief Minister said that the government wants strong connectivity for the district. He added that “not just a red bus, they said that they will also bring an Airbus bus to Adilabad.” He spoke about the government’s efforts during the visit and explained that the people’s government is completing two years. He said that the people of the state “have turned their vote into a weapon and brought people’s rule.”

CM stresses two years of people’s rule and focus on development

Revanth Reddy stated that he has not rested a single day in two years. He said that politics matters only during elections. Therefore, he stressed that development should remain the main goal after elections. He said that the government is moving forward with “two eyes: welfare and development.” He added that they are developing all areas beyond politics.

The Chief Minister also criticised people who supported the previous government. He said that the earlier rulers acted against the aspirations of the people. He further stated that the current government is moving forward by including opposition leaders. He questioned whether opposition MLAs were ever given a chance to speak in CM meetings during KCR’s tenure. He raised several questions on the past governance model.

Revanth Reddy recalls past restrictions at Secretariat

The Chief Minister expressed deep anger about past experiences at the Secretariat. He said that in the past, “when they went to the Secretariat, the gates were locked and blocked.” He shared these remarks while highlighting how the current government aims to work with more openness and inclusiveness. He also said that the government will continue to focus on both welfare and development while taking up new projects like the Adilabad airport.
