After Poisoning Two Children, Couple Committed Suicide By Hanging Themselves

Hyderabad, Mar 11 (Maxim News): After poisoning two children, the couple committed suicide by hanging themselves. Their relatives called on Monday night and informed them about the incident, said CI Rajendar of OU Police Station.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, he said that when he received the phone information and went home, he found that four people were dead, a case of suspicious death was registered, and an investigation is underway. He said that financial difficulties were the reason for the suicide of Chandrasekhar Reddy and his family members and that after hanging two children and their deaths, the husband and wife hanged themselves. 

Chandrasekhar Reddy, who had previously lost his job in the real estate business, later worked as a lecturer in a private college. He left his job six months ago and is unemployed. Chandrasekhar Reddy and his wife Kavitha’s family background shows that they are financially well-settled and that they asked Chandrasekhar Reddy’s family members for Rs. 5 lakhs, and they said they would give it. He said that his wife, Kavitha, did not tell her family members about her financial difficulties. He said that there was no conflict between the husband and wife and that the suicide note mentioned financial difficulties as the reason. He said that statements were recorded from Kavitha’s parents and Chandrasekhar’s parents.

Police After Postmortem Report

CI Rajender said that they would investigate based on the postmortem report. He said that the family members had debts in the past,  but they did not tell their parents and relatives why they had to take out the debts, from whom they had borrowed the amount, etc. He said that technical evidence is being collected as part of the investigation. 

Being empty for six months and facing difficulties in maintaining the family, the head of the house wanted to die with his wife and children. He convinced his wife to do this. After poisoning his two children, the couple committed suicide by hanging themselves. This tragedy took place in Habsiguda. K. Chandrasekhar Reddy (40) of Kalwakurthy in Mahabubnagar district has a wife, Kavitha (35), and children Sreetha (15) and Viswanth (10). Kavitha is a housewife. Sreetha is studying in class nine, and Viswanth is studying in class five. The family has been living in Maheshwari Nagar in Habsiguda for a year. On Monday night, Chandrasekhar and Kavitha committed suicide by poisoning their children. The police seized the suicide note written by him. (Maxim News)
