After Telangana, 4% Muslim Reservation Becomes Hot Topic In AP

Amaravathi/Hyderabad, May 3 (Maxim News): The issue of providing 4 per cent reservation to Muslims which has become the hot topic in Telangana after the Union Home Minister Amit Shah announcing to abolish Muslim reservation, now the issue has become hot in the Andhra Pradesh state also as the MLC Mohammad Iqbal has categorically stated that these reservation will continue in AP.

Mohammad Iqbal said that there will be no collision with Muslim reservation. He said that YSRCP MP R.Krishnaiah who filed a petition in the Supreme court to cancel the reservations given to Muslims on the basis of religion? He said some YCP leaders were angry that they are spreading false propaganda saying that reservations will be removed. Why not the Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy who brought anti-Muslim R. Krishnaiah from Telangna and made him MP?

Speaking to press persons, he said that if the Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is sincere about Muslim reservations, why did he not withdraw the petition filed by R.Krishnaiah, he asked.  (Maxim News)
