Agra: Minister Prashanth Reddy Visits Taj Mahal
Hyderabad, Feb.20 (Maxim News): Telangana roads and buildings minister Prashant Reddy is in a tour to northern states and today visited Agra Fort and Taj Mahal, dhoplur quarry and some other places. The state government is planning to use the Rajasthan and other costly stones and materials for the construction of new secretariat complex in hyderabad.
Thus Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has asked the team of Prashanth Reddy to conduct a study tour to use such materials and stones that are used for noted structures of historic importance. Taking the KCR directive, the Prashanth Reddy team led to northern states on a tour and is interacting with concerned officials to take their cooperation.
Prashant Reddy is on the official trip with some officials and a member of Shaporji and Pallonji Lakshman as part of his tour to Rajasthan, Delhi, Agra and some other places.
The tour is aimed at getting correct information about the stones and material used for historical structures which adore a grand look and splendid beauty.
The minister already visited Rajasthan fort and other places of stones used for the historical structures.
The state government plans to spend huge funds for the new secretariat in place of the old one. About 700 cr was planned for the new secretariat and the cost may escalate further according to sources.
