Aim To Produce 20 Thousand Megawatts Of Electricity By 2029-30: Bhatti

Khammam/Hyderabad, Oct 8 (Maxim News): Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka congratulated the workers of the electrical department who made the electricity problem-free in flood-affected Khammam.

He ordered the electricity officials to respond when people called. He said one or two people in the electricity department would bring a bad name to the whole.

The Deputy Chief Minister held a meeting with the senior officials of the Electricity Department in Khammam Collectorate, today, he said that if there is a departmental problem, the government is ready to solve it.  The Deputy Chief Minister said that the government is working to produce 20,000 megawatts of electricity by 2029-30.  He said that if you call the toll-free number 1912, a system is set up to solve the electricity problem.

He explained that the government intends to provide green energy power to the people.  Arrangements are being made to lay new lines and poles. He said that they are planning to give power instead of drips.  He said that he would help in setting up a solar power plant so that the farmers can get income from crops as well as power.  Solar plants will also be installed in houses in villages.  Bhatti said that full-scale solar power has been set up in Siripuram village of Madhira constituency through a pilot project.  (Maxim News)
