AIMIM Finalize Mirza Riyaz Ul Hassan Effendi As MLC Candidate
Hyderabad, April 4 (Maxim News): The AIMIM Party has finalized Mirza Riyaz Ul Hassan Effendi as the MLC candidate for Hyderabad Local Bodies. He won as the corporator of Noor Khan Bazar in 2009 and Dabir Pura in 2016. In 2019, AIMIM allowed him to become an MLC with an MLA quota. When the term of the MLA quota as an MLC ended in 2023, MIM allowed him to become an MLC candidate for Hyderabad local bodies.
Meanwhile, the BJP and MIM candidates have filed their nominations for the Hyderabad district local body MLC elections. N. Gautam Rao filed his nomination on behalf of the BJP, and Mirza Riaz ul Hasan Effendi filed his nomination on behalf of the MIM. So far, four nominations have been filed.
Along with the BJP and MIM, two more independent candidates have filed their nominations. BJP has announced its candidate at a time when MIM is unanimous with the support of Congress. With the BJP’s nomination, MLC elections have become inevitable. MLC elections will be held on the 23rd of this month. counting will be conducted on the 25th, and the results will be announced.
