AIMIM General Secretary Ahmed Pasha Quadri Passes Away

Hyderabad: AIMIM General Secretary and four time MLA Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri passed away on Tuesday after a prolonged illness. He was 72. He is survived by a son and two daughters.

The final rites of Ahmed Pasha Quadri will be held on Wednesday. Funeral prayers will take place at Masjid e Wazeer Ali, Chandulal Baradari. Burial will follow at Masjid e Hazrat Syed Mohiuddin Pasha graveyard in Noorkhan Bazaar.

Veteran Leader With Decades of Political Service

Ahmed Pasha Quadri began his political journey as a corporator in 1986. He was elected from the Dabeerpura ward of the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad. Later, he represented the Charminar Assembly constituency in 2004, 2009, and 2014. He went on to win from Yakutpura in the 2018 Assembly elections.

Throughout his career, Ahmed Pasha Quadri worked closely with three generations of the Owaisi family. Moreover, he played a key role in strengthening AIMIM at the grassroots level. As the party’s long serving general secretary, he earned respect for his discipline, loyalty, and organisational skills. Party leaders and workers described his death as a significant loss to AIMIM.
