Hyderabad, May 26 (Maxim News): A major fire accident occurred on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Pedda Amberpet in Hyderabad on Tuesday after an Air India bus caught fire while travelling on the highway.
According to initial reports, passengers noticed smoke coming from the rear side of the bus while it was moving on the ORR. They immediately alerted the driver, who quickly stopped the vehicle on the roadside.
Within minutes, flames spread across the bus, triggering panic among motorists travelling on the busy highway. Thick smoke and massive flames were seen rising from the vehicle, causing traffic disruptions on the route.
Fire department personnel rushed to the spot with fire engines after receiving information about the incident. Firefighters launched operations to control the blaze and prevent it from spreading further.
Officials suspect that a short circuit may have caused the fire, though the exact reason is yet to be confirmed. Authorities have not yet released complete details about the passengers, but preliminary reports indicate that people inside the bus managed to come out safely.
