Akshay: Have Another Five Years To Do Action

Fresh from the success of Pad Man, Akshay Kumar has already begun shooting for Kesari. With the Anurag Singh-directed venture and his upcoming film 2.0, the superstar is returning to a territory that he had dominated in the early years of his career — action.

In his recent interview in GQ India’s March 2018 issue, he says that as much as he enjoys doing thought-provoking films, he is also making certain of balancing them with actioners. “I’m 50 now. How much time do I have left [to do action]? How much can my body take? Realistically, I probably have another five years to do action, so I’d like to do as much of it while I can,” he reasons.
