TG EAPCET 2026 Test Zones Frozen In Five Districts

Hyderabad: TG EAPCET 2026 test zones have been frozen in five districts after authorities received applications beyond the capacity of available centres. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, which is conducting the Telangana Engineering Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test, announced the decision as registrations continued to increase.

Officials confirmed that the TG EAPCET 2026 test zones in Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Sangareddy, Adilabad and Nizamabad will no longer appear during fresh registration. The university said the decision was necessary because the number of applicants from these districts exceeded the capacity of exam centres.

TG EAPCET 2026 Test Zones Frozen After High Applications

The university clarified that the zones were frozen after receiving more applications than available slots. Dr Vijaya Kumar Reddy, Convener TG EAPCET 2026, explained the reason behind the move.

“Since these zones have received more applications than the capacity, they have been frozen. These zones will not reflect during the fresh registration,” said Dr. Vijaya Kumar Reddy, Convener TG EAPCET 2026.

Meanwhile, candidates registering for the examination must select test zones according to their preference while filling the application form. Authorities then allot test centres based on the candidates’ preferences and the availability of slots in each zone.

Registration Data and Application Schedule for TG EAPCET 2026

So far, 96,892 students have registered for TG EAPCET 2026. Among them, 64,861 candidates applied for the engineering entrance test. Meanwhile, 31,918 students submitted applications for Agriculture and Pharmacy. In addition, 113 candidates applied for both engineering and Agriculture and Pharmacy streams.

The last date to apply without a late fee through the official website https://eapcet.tgche.ac.in/ is April 4. After submitting the application, candidates will get an opportunity to edit their details between April 6 and April 8.

However, authorities will accept applications with a late fee of Rs 250 and Rs 500 until April 10 and April 15 respectively. Candidates can also apply with a late fee of Rs 2,500 and Rs 5,000 until April 20 and April 24.

Later, JNTU Hyderabad will also allow registrations with a late fee of Rs 10,000. Officials said such applications will be accepted between April 25 and May 2.

Meanwhile, candidates who register with late fees of Rs 2,500, Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000 will receive test centres in the Hyderabad IV zone, Dr Vijaya Kumar Reddy said.

Hall tickets for the Agriculture and Pharmacy entrance test will be available for download on April 23. Meanwhile, engineering entrance test hall tickets will be released on April 27.

Authorities scheduled the Agriculture and Pharmacy entrance tests for May 4 and May 5. The engineering entrance test will take place from May 9 to May 11.
