Alert For Hyderabad: Disruption Of Water Supply On Oct 24 And 25

Hyderabad, Oct 23 (Maxim News): Alert for Hyderabadis, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB)  has issued a key announcement. There will be a disruption in the supply of drinking water to Hyderabad.

Leakage occurred in the 2375 mm diameter MS pumping main of Krishna water supply phase-3. With this, the officials have taken up the repair work to solve the leakage problem. As part of this, repair work will be carried out from 6 am on October 24 to 6 pm on Friday, October 25. Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has disclosed the same.  

Water supply will be disrupted in these areas for 24 hours due to water pipe repairs. Let’s have a look at the areas where water supply is blocked. Shastripuram, Bandlaguda, Bojagutta, Shaikpet, Jubilee Hills, Filmnagar, Prashasan Nagar, Tatti Khana, Lalapet, Sainikpuri, Maula Ali, Gachibowli, Madhapur, Ayyappa society, Cauvery Hills, Vasavi Nagar, Badlanagar, Sulaiman Nagar, Golden heights, Kasmatpur in Hyderabad, the supply of drinking water to large areas of Amberpet will be shut down.

Drinking water supply will be disrupted in the above-mentioned areas from 6 am on the 24th to 6 am on the 25th. Officials advised people in these areas to take precautionary measures. Officials have advised people to keep water in storage and avoid misuse of water as part of the preventive measures.  (Maxim News)
