Andhra Pradesh SSC 10th Class Results 2018
AP SSC Results 2018: The Andhra Pradesh SSC results or the AP Class 10 results for the year 2018 were declared this evening (April 29, Sunday) in Visakhapatnam by education minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao. The AP board of Secondary Education, BSEAP declared the Andhra Pradesh SSC Result, BSEAP 10th Class Result 2018 at 4 pm. The Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh was to declare the SSC results for the year 2018 at 11am. However, the board made an announcement saying the timing had been postponed. So the results were announced at 4pm instead of 11am.
Over 13378 students appeared for the exam. The total pass percentage among regular students was 94.48%. The pass percentage among boys was 94.41%, while girls were ahead with 94.56%. The minister said that Prakasam distrcist topped the number of passouts with 97.93% while Nellore registered 80.37% pass percentage which was the lowest. Some 17 schools registered zero passouts, he added. The pass percentage in private schools is 78.35%. In private schools about 26,478 students scored 10 GP. 100% pass percentage was recorded in 5340 schools. Chittoor recorded a pass percentage of 96.36 while East godavari registered 96.61%, Vishakhapatnam had 96.61 passouts while in Srikakulam the pass percentage is 96.58.
After the AP 10th Class Results, students can either continue in the 10+2 model opting from the streams—Commerce, science or Arts. They could even choose to pursue professional or offbeat courses.
