Anjani Kumar, Former DGP, Gets Suspension Lifted
Anjani Kumar | Hyderabad, December 12 (Maxim News): The Election Commission has overturned the suspension of Anjani Kumar, who was the Director General of Police until recently.
Anjani Kumar was suspended after he met with Revanth Reddy, the TPCC president of a Congress party, during the assembly elections. This was considered a violation of the election code.
Kumar denied any wrongdoing and said he didn’t mean to break the rules. The Election Commission agreed with him and lifted his suspension.
The decision to lift the suspension has been sent to the state government for implementation.
