Another Attack On Jaffar Express: Several Soldiers Killed
Quetta/Internet/Hyderabad, oct 7 (Maxim News): Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has once again provoked in Pakistan. It targeted the Jaffar Express and carried out a fierce attack. It planted IED bombs on the railway track in the Sultankot area near the Sindh-Balochistan border and exploded (Explosion On Railway Track). At the same time, the Jaffar Express train going to Quetta met with an accident. Six coaches derailed.
The Balochistan Liberation Army, a separatist Baloch militant group in Pakistan, claimed responsibility for the incident. It said in a statement that Pakistani army personnel were traveling on the train at the time of the accident. It said that several soldiers were killed in the explosion. It also said that many others were injured. It warned that such attacks would continue until Balochistan gains independence.
On the other hand, the rescue team, which received information about the incident, immediately reached the scene and took up rescue operations. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Rescue operations are currently underway there. It is not clear how many people lost their lives in the incident..
This is the third time this year that the Jaffar Express has been attacked. In March this year, the Jaffar Express was hijacked by separatist Baloch militants in Pakistan. It is known that hundreds of people were taken hostage. In this process, Pakistani soldiers who went to rescue them were killed. Later, the Pakistani army launched an operation and released the hostages. After that, the train was targeted again in June.
