Anti-larvae programs should be taken up vigorously – Commissioner R.V. Karnan
Hyderabad, Aug 2 (Maxim News): GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan has directed the concerned officials to take up anti-larvae programmes vigorously so that the city residents do not fall sick. On Saturday morning, the Commissioner inspected the monsoon sanitation and anti-larvae (ALOs) programmes in Bhu Lakshmi Nagar, Macha Bollaram and Bhudevi Nagar areas of Alwal circle under Kukatpally zone. He directed the officials to take up the measures more vigorously so that the city residents do not face health problems.
On this occasion, the Commissioner spoke to the residents and inquired about garbage collection, anti-larvae measures and other problems being faced in the colony. He issued instructions to the concerned officials to take immediate steps to resolve the issue. An Action Taken Report (ATR) has been submitted within a week.
He said that if there is garbage or construction waste accumulated at vulnerable points, they can be immediately resolved by sending a photo to WhatsApp number 81259 66586. He advised the officials to be vigilant in this regard. He said that the officials should be directly aware of the problems of the people at the field level every day and provide immediate solutions.
