Hyderabad: Bangladesh Hindu attack reports have sparked concern after unidentified assailants threw bombs at Hindu worshippers in the Comilla area. The incident took place on Saturday while people were performing worship. The sudden attack caused panic among those present at the site.

According to available information, the attackers targeted Hindus gathered for prayers. Soon after the bombs exploded, a fire broke out at the location. As the flames spread, worshippers ran away in fear to save themselves. Meanwhile, several people attending the worship service suffered injuries during the chaos.

Among the injured, the condition of priest Keshav Chakravarthy is said to be serious. However, further details about the victims have not been disclosed. Later, police reached the spot after receiving information about the attack. Authorities registered a case and began an investigation. Police officials also said they are searching for the accused involved in the incident.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Hindu attack comes at a time when tensions are already high in the country. Reports indicate that Bangladeshi student leader Usman Hadi was recently murdered. Political developments in Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Hindu attack has also drawn attention because it comes after major political changes in the country. Recently, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party won the general elections. Party chief Tariq Rahman assumed charge as the new Prime Minister following the election results.

Earlier, the government led by Sheikh Hasina fell in 2024 after a student movement. Later, an interim government headed by Muhammad Yunus took control. This interim administration supervised the general elections that followed.

After the election process concluded, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party formed the government. However, despite the change in leadership, attacks on Hindus continue to raise serious concern in the country.
