AP Covid Update: 534 New Cases Reported, Takes Tally To 8,77,348
Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh are declining. According to a bulletin released on Thursday, 63,821 samples were tested in the last 24 hours and another 534 positive cases were reported. The total number of coronavirus cases across the state reached 8,77,348. Meanwhile, two people have died in the past 24 hours, which brings the total death toll to 7069. The health ministry said 498 people had recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total number of people recovered from the coronavirus to 8,65,825 while another 4,454 people are being treated in hospitals.

As per the district-wise data, the highest number of cases recorded in the last 24 hours was 130 in Chittoor district followed by 74 in Krishna district, 54 in Guntur district, 51 in West Godavari district, 45 in East Godavari district, 39 in Srikakulam district, 31 in Visakhapatnam district, 27 in Kadapa district, 16 in Nellore district, 14 in Vizianagaram district and 13 cases were reported in Kurnool district. East Godavari district has the highest number of 1,23,166 positive cases in the state, followed by West Godavari district with 93,574 cases. Chittoor district has 85,196 cases.
