AP Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan completes three years in office

Vijayawada, July 23 (Maxim News): Biswabhusan Harichandan, who assumed office as Governor of Andhra Pradesh on July 24, 2019, has completed three years in office by July 23 this year. In a television address to the people of the State to be telecast over the Doordarshan Saptagiri channel on Sunday, Harichandan said it was an honor to serve as Governor of Andhra Pradesh and he had three fruitful and fulfilling years of his tenure as Governor of the State.

In his address, Harichandan recalled some of the major events held during the past year, like the Swarnim Vijay Varsh celebrating the 50th anniversary of India’s victory in the 1971 war and receiving the ‘Victory Flame’ at Raj Bhavan, his participation in the President’s Fleet Review 2022, held in Visakhapatnam along with President of India Ram Nath Kovind, unveiling of a 30-foot bronze statue of Manyam Veerudu Alluri Sitarama Raju by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, recently in Bhimavaram and his visit to the National War Memorial in New Delhi and so on.

The Governor thanked the people of the State, public representatives, and members of civil society, for the whole-hearted support extended to him during the past three years and expressed hope that he would continue to receive the same affection from all in the future. (Maxim News)
