Based on the 3-member IAS committee guidelines, the AP government issued orders for colouring the Panchayat office buildings all over the state.
The committee suggested four colours-green, blue, white and brown-for painting the buildings. Besides, another colour can be used taking local conditions into the consideration.
The GO stated officials of a particular department will take decisions on colouring their buildings. It further said that colours have decided to reflect the rural culture and as per the orders of the High Court.
