Arrangements For Ganesh Immersion At NTR Marg, Necklace Road: CV Anand

Hyderabad, Sept 13 (Maxim News): Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V Anand said that there is no immersion of Ganesh in the Tankbund this time as per the order of the High Court. The arrangement has been made for Ganesh Immersion at NTR Marg, Necklace Road.

Speaking to press persons, here today, the Hyderabad Police Commissioner said that the arrangements are being made for Ganesh immersion at Necklace Road, NTR Marg. He said that the arrangements for the immersion have been completed. He said that a total of 18,000 policemen will participate in the immersion duties.

It may be recalled that the High Court had ordered last year that Plaster of Paris (POP) idols cannot be immersed in Hussainsagar from this year.  for the implementation of these orders, GHMC has made special arrangements for idol immersion at NTR Marg and Necklace Road.  An immersion festival will be held in Hyderabad on September 17.  (Maxim News)
