Hyderabad: BJP state president Bandi Sanjay demanded the arrest of AIMIM floor leader and MLA AKbaruddin Owaisi for his remarks on former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao and former chief minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh NT Rama Rao.
Speaking to the media at the PV Ghat after paying tributes, Sanjay said that PV Narasimha Rao played a key role in Ayodhya case and the two leaders are ideal for everyone. He lashed out at Owaisi for his remarks to demolish the memorials of PV Narasimha Rao and NT Rama Rao and demanded his arrest.
“Everyone wants to fight together beyond politics. Congress and TDP want to go together and the TRS, however, is going to collaborate with AIMIM.” he said.
He wondered why the TDP is not warning Akbaruddin instead of asking Bharat Ratna to PV Narasimha Rao. “However, the BJP always support TDP’s demand to accord Bharat Ratna to the former Prime Minister,” he said.
Bandi Sanjay also lashed out at CM K Chandrasekhar Rao saying that latter is conspiring to stop the elections and also questioned if there are Rohingyas in the final voter list released from the Old City. The BJP leader also said that the result of GHMC election would be same as of Dubbak by-election.
