Ashok Gehlot Backs Congress Reunion Call

Speaking on opposition coordination, Gehlot said there was merit in Sanjay Raut’s proposal and argued that parties formed after splitting from the Congress should reflect on the larger national interest.

He stated that opposition parties should work together to strengthen democracy and present a united front before the country.

Gehlot also said the INDIA bloc should project a clear leadership face and suggested that a unified endorsement of Rahul Gandhi could strengthen the opposition’s political position.

According to him, voters increasingly view national politics as a contest between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi. He said a common leadership message from opposition parties could influence electoral dynamics.
