ATM Catches Fire In Mahabubabad After Suspected Short Circuit

ATM Catches Fire | Hyderabad, Oct. 6: An ATM caught fire in Kesamudram municipality of Mahabubabad district early Tuesday after a suspected short circuit triggered flames inside the cash machine facility

The incident occurred at the Olam Satyanarayana Complex near Upparappalli Road. Local residents noticed the fire and immediately alerted the fire station.

Firefighters rushed to the spot in a fire engine and brought the flames under control. Police personnel also reached the location and began examining the incident.

Preliminary information suggests that an electrical short circuit may have caused the fire. However, officials have yet to establish the exact cause.

According to a local media report, the ATM was damaged in the incident, while the cash inside remained safe. Electrical equipment, including the air conditioner and computer, was reportedly burnt. The estimated property loss was around ₹1 lakh.
