Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Two Day Mega Event Inaugurated at Parade Ground Secunderabad

Secunderabad, 13 Aug: ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, a Mega Event was inaugurated by Major General Ranjeet Singh Manral, General Officer Commanding, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area with children releasing Tricolour Balloons and unfurling of National Flag by Para Motor and Para Sailing Teams at Army Parade ground in Secunderabad.

The Inaugural ceremony was followed by the scintillating display of Lazium, Kalaripayattu, Malkhamb and Musical Symphony by Military Band. The crowd was mesmerised by the daring display of Motorcycle Stunts and rides by Dare Devils. The event was witnessed by people from all walks of life, who displayed keen interest in the weapons & equipment exhibited by the Indian Army. The History Corner was thronged by the local populace, keen to catch glimpses of the glorious history of the Indian Army. The children also enjoyed the available rides at the venue and the program culminated at 7:00 PM on 13 August 2022.

The second day of the Mega Event will commence at 1:00 PM on 14 August 2022. In addition to the above events, cultural program & felicitation of Veer Naris and Gallantry Award winners will be done by Shri KT Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister of Municipal Administration & Urban Development, Industries & Commerce and Information Technology, who has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest.
