Bahadurpura Murder Case | Hyderabad, June 11 (Maxim News): Bahadurpura Police have solved a sensational murder case and arrested a man accused of killing his wife over suspicion and long standing domestic disputes. Police said the accused allegedly slit his wife’s throat while she was asleep and later tried to destroy evidence before fleeing from the scene.
The accused, identified as Sulaiman Sayeed alias Suleman (32), is a resident of Kishan Bagh in Hyderabad. The victim, Nishad Fatima (30), was his wife.
According to investigators, the couple had been facing marital problems for several years. Police said Sulaiman frequently suspected his wife’s character and repeatedly objected to her visits to her mother’s house. As a result, frequent arguments broke out between the couple.
The disputes eventually reached Lok Adalat proceedings, where mediation efforts attempted to restore peace between them. However, those efforts failed to bring any lasting change. Police said the accused continued to subject Nishad Fatima to physical and mental harassment even after the counseling sessions.
Bahadurpura Murder Case
Investigators said the tensions escalated again on June 7, 2026, after another heated argument regarding the victim’s visits to her parental home. Police believe the accused had developed deep resentment and suspicion toward his wife and had already decided to eliminate her.
According to the investigation, Sulaiman allegedly concealed a kitchen knife and waited for an opportunity to carry out his plan. Later, when Nishad Fatima was alone and asleep inside the house, he launched a brutal attack and slit her throat.
The victim suffered fatal injuries and died instantly at the scene, police said.
Accused Tried to Destroy Evidence
After committing the crime, the accused allegedly attempted to cover up his involvement. Investigators said he disposed of mobile phones connected to the case in an effort to destroy evidence and avoid detection. He then fled from the crime scene.
Based on a complaint received by police, Bahadurpura Police registered a case and immediately launched an intensive investigation. Officers collected witness statements, examined technical evidence, and developed field intelligence to track the suspect.
Furthermore, investigators analyzed electronic data and movement patterns. These efforts helped police identify Sulaiman as the prime suspect in the case. Subsequently, officers traced his location and arrested him within days of the murder.
Police officials said the case highlights the dangers of domestic violence, obsessive suspicion, and unresolved family disputes. They noted that repeated harassment and ongoing conflicts ultimately culminated in the fatal attack.
Swift Investigation Leads to Arrest
The detection team worked under the supervision of Rajendranagar Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police S. Sreenivas. Detective Inspector V. Madhan Lal, Sub Inspector G. Ambedkar, and the law and order staff of Bahadurpura Police Station carried out the investigation.
The team conducted the operation under the guidance of ACP Falaknuma M.A. Javeed.
Senior police officials appreciated the efforts of the investigating officers for solving the case quickly. DCP S. Sreenivas commended the team for using both technical evidence and field intelligence to track down the accused. He said the arrest reflects Hyderabad Police’s commitment to swift investigation and effective action against serious crimes.
Police added that the case serves as a reminder that domestic violence and criminal acts arising from personal suspicion will face strict legal consequences.
