Hyderabad, April 24 (Maxim News): State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar observed 7 hour long fast saying state government to respond all problems being faced by farmers of state. The fast was held at state BJP office.
Speaking on the occasion he alleged that the farmers of the state were not getting adequate amount of support price for their produce. He also alleged that there were no basic facilities at IKP Centers and paddy procurement Centers of the state. He alleged that the state government was encouraging brokers system and added that the officials of the state government had turned into brokers and middlemen. Kumar said that facts would come to fore if the state cabinet ministers toured in the field.
He said that the state was in such situation where the farmers of Siricilla district were forced to burn their paddy. He expressed his anger that the police were slapping cases against the farmers despite the fact that they got relaxations from the ongoing lockdown.(Maxim News)
