Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar made strong remarks following the results of the Jubilee Hills by-election, stating that his goal is to protect Hindu Sanatana Dharma. Addressing reporters at the BJP headquarters in Hyderabad on Sunday, he said that the election outcome reflected growing hatred among Hindus and urged them to unite as a single vote bank.

Bandi Sanjay alleged that the results had exposed divisions within the community, calling on Hindus across the Telugu states who had joined other religions to return to their original faith. “The doors of protection of Hinduism are open for them,” he said, adding that changing one’s religion was “like cheating the gods.” He further appealed to all castes to work together for the welfare of their communities while strengthening Hindu values.

He reiterated that his life mission was to defend and uphold Hindu Sanatana Dharma. According to him, efforts to preserve traditional beliefs and cultural practices are essential to ensure unity within Hindu society. His comments added a sharper political edge to post-election discussions, as he linked the results to a perceived weakening of Hindu solidarity.

Meanwhile, Bandi Sanjay credited Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for promoting Sanatana Dharma in public life. He claimed that Kalyan’s efforts had motivated several Hindus who had converted to rethink their choices. As his remarks sparked fresh political debate, the minister’s emphasis on religious protection and unity was seen as part of the BJP’s broader message to consolidate Hindu identity across the Telugu-speaking states.
