Bandi Sanjay Writes To KCR To Protect Farmers

Hyderabad, March 20 (Maxim News):  BJP State president Bandi Sanjay has written a letter to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao asking him to immediately help the farmers who have lost crops due to untimely rains. He said that it is a shame that the State has not created a comprehensive crop insurance scheme so far to help farmers who have lost crops due to natural calamities.

He expressed grief that more than 5 lakh acres of crops have been damaged across the state.  All the farmers who have lost crops due to untimely rains should be given compensation on a war footing basis without wasting time in the name of surveys and reports.  He demanded immediate implementation of your earlier promise of providing free fertilizers and seeds to farmers to create miracles in agriculture.

Bandi Sanjay in a letter alleged that farmers in Telangana state have been suffering losses for years due to your negligence in designing the crop insurance scheme.  He criticised the fact that the farmers have been suffering for years due to the failure to apply the Fasal Bima Yojana scheme introduced by the Center to the state, claiming that the BJP would have given farmers a chance to receive compensation.

He said that it is an unforgivable crime that the state government is not implementing the comprehensive crop insurance scheme and it is putting soil in the mouths of the farmers.  Bandi Sanjay demanded that the comprehensive crop insurance scheme should be implemented keeping in view the broad interests of the farmers.
