Hyderabad, Oct.1 (Maxim News): Tollywood producer Bandla Ganesh today withdrew his nomination papers for the post of general secretary in the upcoming elections of Movie Artists Association (MAA) .
He took the decision after holding discussions with veteran actor Prakash Raj , who is contesting for the post of the president. Ganesh came out of the panel of Prakash Raj protesting against the decision of actress Jeevitha Rajasekher , who is contesting for the post of the general secretary from the same panel and announced that he would contest for the post of the GS against Jeevitha as an independent candidate.
He also said that he would ensure the defeat of Jeevitha in the elections. He also said that his victory in the elections was a foregone conclusion and added that several bigwigs of the industry were supporting him a couple of days back.
Taking to his social media account, he said that he had decided to withdraw from the elections following the advice of his close friends. He also posted a photograph of Prakash Raj and Srikanth along with him along with his message. (Maxim News)
