Bandobust arrangements for Hanuman Jayanti in city reviewed
Hyderabad, April 17 (Maxim News): Anil Kumar, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic Hyderabad city, has reviewed bandobust arrangements at the Traffic Complex conference hall in connection with Sri Hanuman Jayanthi procession from Gowliguda Ram Mandir to Tadbund Hanuman Temple to be held on April 19.
While reviewing the arrangements, the Addl. CP (Traffic) said all in-charge sector officers should personally visit the route and check whether there are obstructions on the route and take action to clear it for the free passage of procession. He also instructed all the officers to brief the sector men properly about their duties and responsibilities. All the officers were briefed to give clearance to ambulances and other emergency vehicles.
Anil Kumar reviewed the places of traffic diversion points for vehicular traffic and instructed them to make barricading arrangements, placing of signages at the locations of diversions for information to the citizens. The mobile Variable Message Boards (VMBs) will be used for dissemination of traffic and procession related information to the public. Google map will show the routes and diversion points from time to time updating the information.
