Ramayampet/Hyderabad, June 1 (Maxim News): A bear attack on a farmer took place in the early hours of Sunday in the Sadashivanagar tribal group of Ramayampet mandal. Going into the wilderness, Batroth hanumanth, a tribal group member, went to his agricultural well on Saturday night, watered the field at night, and left the field for home in the early hours of the morning.
The bear attacked Hanumanth in the forest area on the way. The bear left when the farmer who was carrying a stick chased the bear.
The injured farmer Hanumanth was immediately rushed to the Ramayampet government hospital by his family members. When the matter was brought to the notice of the forest department officials, they advised them not to go near the agricultural wells at night, and if they do, they should go with the help of a stick in their hand.
They said that they had already made farmers aware of wild animals. They said that they would keep a watchful eye on wild animals. However, they advised farmers not to go near the wells alone at night. (Maxim News)
