In a sharp attack on the BJP, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today called them a party of ”rioters”. She said, ” They (BJP) do not do any work and only make tall speeches and create division within people. ”
She slammed a BJP leader who had made insulting personal remarks about her, saying, ” How dare they question who my parents are, what is my religion? How arrogant of them. One BJP leader asked a few days ago if I am a male, a female or a transgender. How do they get the audacity? ” She reminded the BJP that religion stands for peace and love and not for hatred. ” We worship Maa Durga and Maa Kali. We celebrate Eid too.
