BJP activists burn CM KCR’s effigy at Puranapul crossroads

Hyderabad, July 3 (Maxim News): Opposing the policies of ruling TRS party, BJP activists from the city today burned an effigy of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at Puranapul crossroads in the city. A protest was also held under the leadership of party leader and contested MLA candidate from Charminar Assembly constituency T. Uma Mahendra.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahendra said he said KCR was behaving in such a way that he could force all the people in the State to hang their heads in shame. He also said it was unfortunate that KCR did not welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the airport. He alleged that the ruling TRS party had also not made adequate arrangements for their party‘s national executive committee meetings despite the fact that it is being attended by the Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled States and Union ministers.

He alleged that the TRS party leaders had created a meaningless chaos in the city by inviting the Presidential candidate of the Opposition political parties Yashwant Sinha to the city on the same day when Prime Minister was scheduled to land in the city. He claimed that the people in the State were criticising the attitude of the Chief Minister and added that the ruling TRS party leaders were scared of losing power in the State due to the programs being held by their party. He said none can stop their victory in the State in future. (Maxim News)
