BJP, Cong are against BCs and Dalits: Srinivas Goud

Hyderabad, Oct.26 (Maxim News): Tourism, Culture and Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud today criticized that the BJP and the Congress were resorting to anti development programs. He charged that the two parties are against the development of BCs and Dalits.

The Minister claimed that Telangana state is number one in welfare and development under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Speaking at a press conference at the TRS Legislature Party office here, the minister accused the opposition parties of coming in the way of development of BCs, SCs and poor sections.

Srinivas Goud said that the TRS party celebrated its Plenary on a grand scale. IT minister KT Rama Rao is moving in the path shown by his father KCR for all round development and welfare of the poor sections.

They stalled the Dalit Bandhu in the Huzurabad segment going for polls on Oct 30. The Congress and the BJP are only making political charges and coming in the way of development.

He expressed surprise at the BJP for stalling the Dalit Bandhu which was a previous scheme. He hit out at the BJP Government for increasing the prices of fuel and gas to burden the people who are not able to bear the burden.
The congress and the BJP are deliberately trying to malign the image of the government he expressed displeasure. The State Government is noted for its welfare schemes and number one at national level, the minister claimed.

The schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Bhima, pensions, KCR Kits have been a big hit as most of the people are getting them. Now on the same path KCR began Dalit Bandhu for empowerment of SCs he said. The successive governments of the congress and the BJP ignored the SCs and suppressed BCs.

The Congress and the BJP are envious of the BC and SC welfare programs of the government and coming in the way, he charged.

The people will surely teach the Congress and the BJP a lesson in future, he said. The Centre has to control price rise in fuel and gas if it has commitment to help the poor he demanded. The Congress is unable to digest the development and causing hurdles, he added. (Maxim News)
