Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 13 (Maxim News): BJP MP Raghunandan Rao has accused the Congress and BRS parties of competing in looting people’s money in Telangana. He criticized the BRS for wanting to loot the Congress beyond the ten years of corruption. He said that these two parties are like two sides of the same coin. On this occasion, the MP demanded a thorough investigation into the agreement signed in the name of Unity Mall.
MP Raghunandar Rao said that it was decided to build Unity Mall with the Rs. 202 crore given by the Center. He said that the Telangana government has given more than six acres of land for this. However, MP Raghunandan Rao made it clear that an investigation should be conducted into the allegations made by BRS Working President KTR that there was corruption in this agreement. He questioned why there should be no investigation if KTR made a mistake and if Congress made a mistake, there should be no investigation. In 2018, during the BRS regime, 10 acres of land was allotted to a private company and an investigation should be conducted on that too. Raghunandan demanded that an investigation be conducted on these two land allocation agreements with equal focus.
The MP said that he is filing a complaint with the Central Vigilance Commission seeking an inquiry by central investigative agencies into the Unity Mall and past BRS land allotments. He also wants a CBI inquiry into the Kaleshwaram project from the DPR to the final payment. He wants an investigation into the entire project, not just the three barrages. The MP suggested that CM Revanth Reddy should write a letter to the Center to investigate the entire Kaleshwaram project. He said that he will work with the Union Home Minister to ensure that an investigation is conducted on it. On the other hand, the MP was angry that the Congress government changed its mind on the issues of the Ring Road, Formula-E Race and Kaleshwaram.
Raghunandan Rao criticized the Congress and BRS for diverting public attention by making accusations against each other. They both used sarcasm to describe them as brothers in corruption. On this occasion, he said that the BJP is appealing to the people to form a double engine government in Telangana. The MP said that the value of land in Hyderabad has reached hundreds of crores per acre and that governments do not have the right to sell people’s properties. He said that governments should be custodians of people’s properties and should not act as owners. (Maxim News)
