Hyderabad, Feb.20 (Maxim News): Veteran BJP leader Ch. Vidyasagar Rao on Thursday said his party was going ahead with renewed vigour in two Telugu speaking States. He made these remarks after meeting national party president JP Nadda at national capital along with other party leaders.
Addressing mediapersons later, Vidyasagar Rao said the two States would soon get new state party presidents. He made it clear that they would all work together for strengthening the party, irrespective of whoever was made the State presidents. He claimed that the party has turned out to be an alternative to ruling TRS party in Telangana State and his party would witness changes in AP too.
Targeting the TRS government, the veteran BJP leader alleged that the State was witnessing Nizam’s rule. Referring to CAA, the TRS, Congress and MIM parties were opposing the Act to gain political mileage in the State. He also alleged that these parties were opposing the CAA as they were jealous of the popularity gained by Prime Minister Narendra Modi due to the revocation of Article 370, Triple Talaq and Ram temple. He alleged that although the Centre has not taken any decision on NPR, the Opposition parties were politicizing the issue. (Maxim News)
