BJP MLC Condemns Asaduddin’s Remark On Delhi Riots

Hyderabad, March 2 (Maxim News): BJP took strong exception to word “genocide” used by AIMIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi in connection with riots in Delhi. Using the “genocide” word is highly objectionable and dangerous and Owaisi was provoking and misleading innocent Muslims for his selfish design, the BJP floor leader in the Council and Greater Hyderabad party president N Ramchender Rao said.

Speaking to mediapersons at the State party office here today, the BJP leader said AIMIM chief Owaisi, had asked the Muslims not to show any papers to personnel if anybody visits their house for collecting data. He also said they can enjoy all the benefits by showing papers for ration and treatment in hospitals; but the people were being asked by the MIM leaders not to show any papers to the officers when they visit their houses. The Muslims were being mislead by the AIMIM leaders to derive political mileage, he alleged.

Stating that people of Telangana are observing the misinformation campaigning being spread by the Opposition parties against the CAA and tacit understanding between the ruling TRS and AIMIM, Ramchender Rao accused the TRS leaders of speaking like the MIM leaders, who were provoking the people in the name of CAA, NRC and NPR. Citing an example of Sherilingampally TRS MLA Arkepudi Gandhi, who recently addressing a gathering at his residence had said that the TRS government would provide protection to Muslims either they come from Pakistan or any other place, he said.

Criticizing Asaduddin Owaisi for his comments on the flag march by RAF personnel near Charminar, the BJP leader said the flag march was a confidence building measure and why Hyderabad MP has objection for it. The comment of Asaduddin Owai shows that he wanted to create differences between people of Charminar and Hi-tech city by questioning that why not flag march was conducted in front of Secunderabad railway station or Hi tech city, Rao alleged.

BJP MLC condemned the ruling TRS for not fulfilling its promises of two bed room houses to poor in the city here. The TRS had promised to provide two bed room houses to people before GHMC elections earlier and now again the ruling party is considering to conduct the elections for GHMC, he said.

Rao wanted to know from the TRS government how many two bed room houses were constructed and number of allotments after the GHMC elections. The TRS party is now again trying to deceive the people by making various promises, he accused.

Rao alleged that the state government has diverted central funds allotted under Pradhanmatri Avas Yojana.

Expressing concern on the wall collapse incident in Mangalbasti under Nampally constituency which claimed three lives, the BJP leader said there were 2000 people living in dilapidated houses in this area and not vacating houses because they are in hope that the state government would provide them two bed room houses. But the state government only dole promises before elections and later it will forget, Rao alleged and asserted that people have realized the opportunistic politics and would teach a lesson to the TRS.

Later, 50 Congress workers from Secunderabad assembly constituency have joined BJP in the presence of MLC N Ramachander Rao who welcomed them with party shawls.

State party official spokesperson N V Subhash, media convenor V Sudhakar Sharma, ex-MLC Mohan Reddy were also present at the press conference. (Maxim News)
